This past week as we pulled out the Christmas tree and decorations I reflected on all my blessings of the past year. Among those blessings were trials, struggles and sorrows that my Savior brought me through and left me with new knowledge and strength I wouldn't have received any other way. He helped me to let go of my pride and resentments, to look at others through His eyes, to serve others and allow others to serve me, to fall and be lifted up and most importantly - to forgive and be forgiven. As this video shows, that is why He was born and that is why we celebrate.
