The Recipe
4 Tbsp. parsley
2 Tbsp. rosemary
2 Tbsp. oregano
4 tsp. thyme
4 tsp. garlic
2 tsp. basil
1 tsp. fresh ground pepper
Now that the garden is tucked in for the winter and the herbs are drying on screens in the basement, it is time for some herbal crafting, medicine making and food preserving. Today I want to share a super easy herbal sprinkle with all those garden herbs that have been dried. You can use this sprinkle to flavor any dish or for marinating meats and in salad dressings. Not only does this sprinkle add great flavor to foods but it is full of healing properties, check out the links to the herbs listed below for detailed information on each herb in this sprinkle.
The Recipe
6 Tbsp. chives
4 Tbsp. parsley 2 Tbsp. rosemary 2 Tbsp. oregano 4 tsp. thyme 4 tsp. garlic 2 tsp. basil 1 tsp. fresh ground pepper
Crush up the dried herbs (except garlic, I just used garlic powder) and grind to your desired consistency using a coffee grinder (mine is dedicated to herbs only). Mix with the garlic powder and pepper and pour into a spice jar. Label and use as you would any seasoning.

Hi Annie, We are hosting a SEASONING AND SPICE MIX link up and I thought of all the wonderful recipes you have. Please share some if you have time! Also, on this recipe, you don't mention the amount of garlic powder in the ingredient section. This looks really good!!!
