Our Favorite Thanksgiving Books
- Leaf Garland - let each family member write what they are grateful for on some paper leaves. Hole punch and thread onto a stretch of string or yarn, then hang in the doorways.
- Gratitude Tree - like the thankful poster but you have a tree trunk drawn on the poster and cut out leaves. Each person writes a blessing on the leaf and glues it to the tree (Give Thanks has page size trees for each child to make individually).
- Here are some great stories and activities on gratitude from our church's monthly children's magazine, The Children's Friend.
- Strangers and Pilgrims on Earth has a fun Unit Study for the pilgrims here.
